MyLo Lowcountry and Holy City Sinner are proud to present the MyLo Photo Contest! We invite photographers of all skill levels to showcase the beauty, essence, and unique characteristics of Charleston, SC. This is your chance to highlight what makes Charleston special through your photography.
Winners are selected based on the total number of votes received. The First Place winner will enjoy prizes worth $5,000, featuring a combination of cash, stays at select Charleston hotels, dining at top restaurants, spa treatments, and more. The Second Place prize package is valued at $2,500, while the Third Place prize totals $1,000 in value.
All qualified photos will be showcased on our voting platform. The voting process unfolds in two rounds. The initial voting round spans three weeks, providing ample opportunity for voters to evaluate the entries and select their favorites, with the aim of narrowing down the field to the top 10 most compelling contestants. Subsequently, these finalists progress to a two-week final voting round, where the community's votes will decide the ultimate winners.

Q: Who is allowed to vote?
A: Anyone with an email address! Encourage your friends and family to vote for your entry beginning April 30, 2024.
Q: I submitted my entry, now what?
A: Thank you! Please mark your calendars for the upcoming voting period. The first round of voting starts on April 30th and runs through May 21, 2024.
Q: How many times can someone vote?
A: Once per calendar day.
Q: How will I know if I made it to round 2?
A: The top ten finalisits (the entries with the most votes) will be showcased on our website and you will be notified via email that you are advancing to the final round.
Q: How long is round 2?
A: Round 2 lasts two weeks. It will begin May 22, 2024 and conclude on June 5, 2024.
Q: If I voted in round 1, does it count towards round 2?
A: No, round 2 will be a blank slate. Encourage your friends and family to vote for you again in the final round!
Q: When will winners be announced?
A: Winners will be announced on June 6, 2024 via email and on this website.
